Cath Lab Department
In the Cath Lab Department, various cardiovascular procedures are performed using the most advanced and modern equipment, including diagnostic coronary angiography, carotid artery and cerebral vessel angiography, renal artery angiography, lower limb vascular angiography, radial coronary angiography (through the wrist), coronary angioplasty (cardiac treatment), carotid artery angioplasty, renal artery angioplasty, mitral valve valvuloplasty, single-chamber and dual-chamber pacemaker implantation, ICD implantation, and ICD filter placement.
By assessing the severity of vascular blockages, patients may receive medication and specific dietary recommendations when necessary. When the degree of vessel blockage exceeds 70%, angioplasty is performed using balloon catheterization and stent placement.
Before performing angiography, echocardiography and exercise stress testing are required, which are carried out in the Echo Clinic.
Along with the angiography system, other required equipment, including echocardiography and ECG machines, are available and are among the most advanced models.
This center also provides various types of modern balloons and stents from around the world. Based on each patient's condition, including age, diabetes, and other factors, the most suitable type is selected specifically for each patient. The same applies to the guide wires and catheters used in this center.
This department includes one angiography room and one recovery room with three beds.
